For those who don’t know, Joseph/Joe has a disability called Cerebral Palsy. This disability is caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the developing brain that affects a person's ability to control their muscles. This usually happens during childbirth.
Joe had experienced a lot, he keeps facing challenges everyday with Cerebral Palsy. Many people don’t know about these challenges and overlook them. Joe wants to share his story and help people understand what it’s like to live with this disability.
Cerebral Palsy is with him forever and there’s nothing to prevent or cure it so there’s no point for Joe to fight it, it’s not going anywhere. The only thing Joe can do is embrace it and don’t let his disability take over.
This book is very similar to the first book but the main idea of Joe writing this is to help people realize how much different it is to live with his disability however this is purely from his experience and his own point of view.
This story is part 2 from the first book about what it is like to live with Cerebral Palsy and how much he has in his life.
